Billing

Scheduled is the billing plan drawn on a Fixed Price project; Earned is revenue recognized from hours logged and percent complete. The gap between them is deferred revenue or unbilled work — not profit or loss. A project with no billing schedule shows — in Scheduled, not $0. For a T&M project, Billable is what the PM approved for invoicing — it can diverge from Earned when hours were written down, and stays marked Pending approval until someone reviews the period on Time Approvals.
