Situation

You're about to meet a client for a quarterly business review, a monthly catch-up, or a renewal conversation. You want every active engagement with them, current status, hours and budget, and anything that needs flagging — in one read, not a dig through three spreadsheets.

In the console

Open Clients (/console/clients) and select the client for every active engagement, status, hours and budget in one place. For the money, Reports → Segmentation → By customer gives revenue, cost, margin and LER per client.

What you see

Client name and all active engagements:

Retainer periods are shown separately with their own burn info (active period, not parent).

Plus:

  • Any unresolved items tied to that client
  • Total hours committed to the client across all active projects
  • For Owners: total revenue, cost, and margin for the client month-to-date and year-to-date

Who can run it

  • Owners — full view including dollar figures
  • Managers — percentages and hours only
